There has been another tragic fatality involving boat anglers today, this time at Cromwell Weir. Reported on the Pikers Pit forum.
I don't know if the blokes involved were wearing life jackets or not but I felt this a good time to re-enforce that message again anyway.
I have a very relevant link on my website which really shows the dangers associated with cold water fishing and how quick the body shuts down. EVERY angler who uses a boat needs to be aware of this.

Here is a photo of me out and about in the boat over the weekend here in Norfolk..
I always wear my lifejacket... NEVER take risks!!!!

In reply to Post #2 I am amazed people go out without a life jacket, especially in the winter. I have always fished with one, even in the blazing sun. I would rather be sweaty at the end of the day than dead!
